Buying modified bodyparts from dealer?

    Hi all. Quick query...

I recently bought a 3 door 06 astra hatchback from a good mate. Needed a runabout for town driving/work and dogs in back... he needed it gone (family now). So we looked after each other. Saving a fortune on tax and petrol!!!

He was the only owner. Mechanically sound but it needed a bit of TLC, grubby interior, gear gaiter destroyed, torn leather seat base, missing roof rail blanks, little bits.

I decided to tidy it up and bought bits online and second hand to satisfy my OCD. Now the boy racer in me (I'm 40 this year) is considering some exterior mods... like an OPC bumper or side skirts. Nothing naff, just to take the standard look off it. I used to have An auld m-sport e61 (and a raft of coupe bmws) and I used to love adding subtle styling.

Ramble aside.. can I ring Opel or Vauxhall in the north and look for body-parts for a car that I don't own (the opc styling) as the stuff on eBay is awful tatt?

    Anyone any experiences?

You could but you will pay many thousands for the pleasure and some bits wont fit due to the OPC having a different and wider stance

There is another kit called the XP kit you could fit, but honestly you’d spend more than the car is worth.

Bit late but if your still looking then everything a straight fit on regarding vxr/opc bumpers and skirts (skirts are exact same from what I have seen of opc line and my OPC, but rear spoiler is different). Nothing stopping you fitting it other than the look of car if you dont lower your car and maybe size of wheels.

Plenty breakers in uk (maybe north to) for second hand bits on facebook etc Buying new will cost small fortune and stuff is now starting to be discontinued so maybe not available anyway.
