Can anyone give me any advice on getting someone sectioned? Said person is trying to be hospitalised, has gone to a&e , gone to gp, seen a psychiatrist. Has been violent ( is on bail at the moment) Is coming up against a brick wall as has no health insurance.

It is not possible to section someone if they voluntarily want to be admitted to a psychiatric institution.

You can only section someone who is not volunteering to be admitted and is dangerous due to a psychiatric condition.

All you can do is keep insisting.
