change roof type and planning

    Hi I've got planning for a 1300sq/ft bungalow with hip roof. I've just realised there will be enough room in attic to convert later down the line. Would i need planning permission again before I start building to change to a gable roof ?

    Could i start the build anyway and apply for a change as I'm doing foundations and blockwork ?
