    I'll try to be brief.

Probably 8+ months ago the upstairs boiler started acting up. When the immersion was switched on to Sink it would heat up to ridiculous temps, probably close to boiling. The actual Bath function isn't working either. I'm assuming they are 2 different issues?

Next, the ensuite shower gave an issue(it's fed from said bolier). I used it one evening no bother then the missus went in after me and I went downstairs. All of a sudden I heard water trickle behind the plaster board in the kitchen. I ran straight up into the shower and the water was only spitting out of the head the rest of it was going behind the plaster board.

    Any suggestions?

Mod note: I just edited the header to make it more relevant.

Bath and sink are two separate elements. Bath element has probably blown & needs replacing. Thermostat has blown hence the high temperature. Solution replace element & thermostat

Couldn't really comment on the possibility of a leak without seeing it. If the water was too hot I'd expect it to splutter.

My suggestion is to get a good plumber. Preferably someone recommended. Sounds like you need a new element & thermostat. I'm guessing 150 to 200.

Water shooting back into the wall could be a push in fitting not pushed home correctly or a loose pipe going into an Aqualisa aquastream shower.

Call a plumber. Maybe get a few prices but go with the better plumber and not the cheapest one
