Are these supposed to be greased or are they sealed units?
I can't seem to find grease points anywhere on them.

What tractor have you got Kay 9?

Some tractors have sealed universal joints, others grease-able depending on what you have.

Could the tip of the nipple have broken off, or could the hole be filled with dirt?

I've checked and spun both sides and can't find anything.
There's plastic on the cups so I'm assuming they're sealed but still not so sure.
Can't find any detail in the manual either.

As far as I remember, the UJ's on these axles are sealed type and not greasable. If you don't find a grease nipple (or zerk as the Americans like to call them), on one of the 4 caps of the UJ or in the centre of the UJ itself, then they are the sealed type. If one or more has been replaced at any point in it's life, usually replacements have a grease nipple (seems to be the most common available option to buy greasable ones as opposed to sealed).
A note for the axle centre pivot, I always make a habit of jacking up front of the tractor with front loader or if you don't have a loader to jack up under front tombstone and allow axle to "hang", this way there is more chance of getting grease over the top of the pivot bearings where it's needed. Any tractors I have had through the workshop I've always done this way. Extra peace of mind knowing that the grease is likely to be where it's needed most.

Same as for older lorries that don't have auto greasing.

I'll have to have another look when I get a chance.
Have the other 9 or 10 at the front end sorted but these ujs are bugging me.

Can you see better if you lock the steering fully? For UJ's with greasing point in the centre of the cross, it's the only way you'll get to them, if they're in it.

Those little inspection mirrors on the extentendable handle would be great for this. Think I seen them in Woodies or B&Q.

None on the ts115 that I could ever find anyway. All the contractors jd's could be greased though.

Fiat were great for reliability and simplicity. I guess if they're sealed, dirt and dust can't get in and cause premature failure.
