Welding Rods

Hi all, I used to do some stick welding many moons ago and found Selectarc the best rods to use. I have an interest in doing some light jobs around the house again but have discovered Selectarc no longer exist:( Any ideas on a good rod? I would be welding 2.5mm box/flat mild steel mainly. Perhaps all makes of rods are good…

If you can get Oerlikon Citofix electrodes they wont let you down. Easy re-strike etc. If you want to go full on, the Fincord M are the premium Oerlikon rod. Citofix are fine.

Lots of makes out there but quality may not be what they once were due to outsourcing.
