    Hi everyone, not sure if this belongs in the wedding forum or the Kilkenny forum. I am planning a wedding in Kilkenny and because I am not from there, certain aspects of organisation are proving difficult. We are also on a small enough budget. Would anyone know of any information about the following:

    Local Hair/ makeup recommendations that are reasonably priced and would come to a local hotel that morning.

    Any information on the following wedding bands:

    The Works
    The OMGs
    The Swinging Blue Cats
    The Ambassadors
    Generation 5
    Avalon
    Fiesta
    Brand New Cadillac

    Apologies for the long post. Thank you in advance for any assistance anyone can provide :)

    I got married in Kilkenny in 2016, I used Dawn Ryan for my hair and Stef Brennan (now has a salon called indie dolls). Both were amazing and reasonably priced and came to the hotel. Dawn actually lives in the city center so our venue was literally a walk down the road for her. Highly recommend both.

    Hi dno7239, congrats on your upcoming wedding! 
    I'm got married in Kilkenny back in September. I had Carol Knox (MUCK) for my makeup and Elaine Murphy for my hair. Both will come to the house/hotel and are lovely to deal with. If you are on Facebook you should be able to find them easily enough. Vow2Wow is also another option for hair and Leanne comes highly recommended. 
    Of the bands I've only ever seen Fiesta. I've seen them at two weddings in Kilkenny and they're really good and reasonably priced as far as I know.
