Best cutters for fencing?

Title says it all really, looking for advice on the best fence/wire cutters available, for cutting barbed wire/sheep/bull wire while fencing.

Have one of these. No effort to cut through any type of wire

+1 on the knipex (Made in Germany). Cheaper in local B&M than on amazon. You need the one rated for 2.5mm piano wire as this will cut 3mm HT.

The hardness of the cutting edge means the tips are a bit brittle so dont abuse it for tightening nuts or as a hammer!

got 1 in aldi or lidl a few years ago , thought it must be crap for the price but still as good as new

Bolt Cutters are a great job will also cut right through a staple if you want to remove wire, you can then remove the staple. When wiring I carry the bolt cutters(had a small one from ALDI/LIDL until it got lost must replace handier than the large one), small naill bar, vice grips, claw hammer, fencing pliers, small adjustable wrench and a standard pliers(I have a fine one bought from Wurth years ago).

If just doing a quick job ideall, small bolt cutters, fencing pliers and adjustable will do, maybe a claw hammer as well.

Jeez, there's a lot of advice there, thanks everyone, I'll take a good look at them all and see what will suit me best, being a laydee thats out fixing/fencing on my own sometimes I want to make sure I have the right tools for the job

One of them is the best fencing tool I ever bought. Even with a good knipex pliers the hands would be getting sore after cutting 8 strands of HT sheep wire and then maybe a few vertical wires to get tying off.

If you are ever taking down wire you can use a bolt cutter to cut the staples that are not coming out easy. This works very well with the black tublar insulaters and then use the bolt cutters to lever out the two halves of the staple if the clawhammer or nail bar will not catch them.
