BMW 320D ABS ASC errors and whistling

    hi

07 320 D - the week before Christmas I started getting three errors on the dash: the ABS, ASC, and handbrake light.

Brought to an indy mechanic but with the time of year he said I'd have to come back in Jan.

Drove for another couple of days and then Christmas eve i started to hear a very loud whistle (which i believe is related to the turbo?) so got it home and haven't drove it since.

My question is, should i stick with the indy mechanic or does anyone know if these issues are covered with BMW under goodwill?

    Appreciate any advice!

With that age of car you can forget about goodwill from BMW. The dealer is absolutely the last place you should be bringing it.

+1 to what was said above.

Leave it with your mechanic for now. The second issue sounds like something completely separate. The first issue is most likely a faulty ABS sensor in one of the wheels. Generally not difficult or costly to fix.

The ABS issue: you will need the codes read to narrow down what the problem is. It could be as simple as a sensor or as expensive as an abs pump.

If you are in around the D15 area i could read the codes for you.

The other issue needs to be looked at by the mechanic.
