    Every year I promise my husband that we can go away for Christmas... so here we are again...
    Can anyone recommend a really nice hotel in Ireland who have good deals and service for Christmas 2018

    I suppose it depends on budget really. A few really nice hotels would be somewhere like The Shelbourne in Dublin or Harvey’s Point in Donegal.

    Thanks for your reply johnire. Have not really thought about budget yet. was thinking I would have a whole year to save for it anyway. I had hoped someone who be able to give me personal recommendation. like where they had spent christmas other years

    Ah yes I know what you mean.Ive never stayed anywhere in Ireland over the Christmas but some places do look amazing.
    We stayed in The Shelbourne at the beginning of December and it was fabulous.
    There was an article in the Indo before Christmas that I can’t find but it detailed different hotels around the country to stay in over Christmas.
    You could try contacting them and maybe they will be able to locate the article.I think it was the end of November.
    However I did find another article they did back in October which may give you some ideas!
    P.S.Maybe this is one and the same article and there wasn’t another one!!!

    I'd actually chose Solis Lough Eske Castle over Harvey's. It felt a lot more Christmassy this year in Solis.
