Lost key, best option to get moving again

Hey lads, happy new year to all the Motors boardsies. Am looking for advice and recommendations on the best way to resolve a lost key issue. The car is a 01 Fiesta and the only key has disappeared. What is the best option for getting a key cut and how much is it likely to cost for one of these key types? The car is unlocked, by the way, and Ford have recommended a locksmith as the best option i.e. they're not really interested.

    TIA

If you're in the pale places like autokey.ie and crothers.ie can help.
Ask other Ford dealers, the price from them can be below 200

As suggested by your Ford dealer a locksmith is the best option. They will come out to your car and cut they key to suit.

The fact that the car is open is a huge advantage.

try somewhere like this : http://www.locksmiths247.ie/contact/

    *if you're in Dublin
