Evening, lads. It's 2018, and I want to fix my accounts, and just generally... Get my **** together, lol. I have been doing it myself on Excel, and I just get so overwhelmed and don't know what I'm doing.
Should I buy some kind of accounting software? Is there something free that's actually good? Do I hire someone even though it's expensive???

What do you guys do? Some basic advice would be great.

    Fix your accounts?

Usually keeping a record of all your income and expenditure is half the battle.

Well to manage your accounts, you could use Quickbooks or Xero. I believe Quickbooks has an Accountant login feature. I gather you will need an Accountant eventually for the purpose of filling accounts with Revenue and the CRO if you're running an LTD.
