I've no experience with removing this from carpet but cardmakers usually use baby wipes to remove ink from rubber stamps, and their hands, so you could try those, but do a small test in an out of the way area first.

If it has already solidified, try using some "sticky stuff remover" or some "loctite superattak glue remover", they may help. Try on a hidden corner of the carpet, first, just to be sure it won't ruin it.
