2011 mondeo keyless entry can’t open

    Hi have a 2011 mondeo diesel as above tried opening this evening couldn’t removed the metal key from the key fob to try open wouldn’t let me just wondering what’s my Nxt course of action will it be a trip to main dealers? I think it could be car battery or central locking issue personally.

    Not entirely sure what the issue is. Will the key not flip out when you press button?
    Does the car not open when you press the buttons on the fob?

    Assuming the key is similar to a BMW job where there is a key inside the fob?

    Can you post a picture of the fob OP? there should be a button to release key

    The key is like the BMW job key with in a key manged to open it this morning with help of a friend and we stared it bypassing the key so to speak,it’s going to main dealer tomorrow I believe the signal from the key to the car there’s a problem plus like I said won’t open or start remotely hope this video explains it better: https://youtu.be/9sqPqbvt7bU
