Anyone know how much it would cost to replace the keyless entry fob on the mother's Toyota UC? It's a 2010 model. The key blade remains but somehow the fob in which it is usually embedded has been lost. I'm anticipating big dollar if i go to the main dealer. Are there any alternatives. We have a spare but want to keep it a two key car. Thanks.

Around €150-€200 I would say from main dealer.

Bit of a sting. Are there any alternatives?

I would've thought they'd be much more money than that.

Seriously? That's painful. Surely there's an alternative?

You might be right there, feckin £308 for one for a 2017 Auris...
I only have one Toyota auris key.i would like to order a space key.My local Toyota dealer said need to cost £308 for it.That is too too expensive .
Probably the best reason for not buying another Toyota.I was quoted over £300 by my local dealer for a RAV 4 key, they didn’t mention that cost it when they sold it to me.Now its time to change cars and spend £15000 plus, guess where I WONT be going !

I'll try the dealer and the lock doctor and keep you posted.
