How to fix twist bath plug

Hi there, I bought a house before Christmas and the bath plug (twist mechanism) was working ok. Now the plug won't twist or lock in fully so cant use the bath as water going down. I think a screw must have come out. Does anyone know how I would get this fixed and do I need to buy a whole new plug? Thanks
