30mm EF Canon Prime Lens on Crop Sensor Camera

    If I use the above lens on a crop sensor Canon camera will it be the same as using a 50mm prime lens?

    43mm is 'standard' on full frame (using the common measurement of the diagonal of the sensor). 27mm is 'standard' on canon APS-C - so a 30mm on canon APS-C is pretty much the same as a 50mm on full frame, ever so slightly longer than standard.
