Which Shed Wall?

    hello folks,

going to build a single leaf shed with 4 inch blocks. Neighbour has 9 inch cavity blocks left over from a job and has offered them cheap to me if I want them.
I may or may not insulate the shed at a later date depending on use. Would better insulation result from putting insulated slabs on the 4 inch block or the cavity block?

    Many thanks

Erm, surely battening inside and putting insulation between the battons it wouldn't matter what block was used considering its single leaf.

    Thanks listermint,

as you say battening inside is another option. If I do anything it will be plaster boarded and skimmed too. Just curious, why do you think battening with insulation between is a better option that insulated plasterboard?

Anyway, the question had more to do with which bloch may be better. So in your opinion there is no difference?

    Cheers

Handier to run cables after. Cavity not necessarily better more expense and you'll have to insulate anyway again
