Hi lads. I've had this box a while now and the following channels are blank in the epg until I actually click on them and then they only populate with now and next: tru tv + 1, Kerrang, Now 80s, 5Spike + 1, Yesterday + 1, Showcase + 1. Every other channel (terrestrial and satellite) populates fine. The box came without a HDD but I've since installed one. Seeing as it didn't have one initially the epg location was set to internal flash. I haven't changed this setting. Also, the settings in CrossEPG for scheduled download is set to disabled. So, if I enable that and change the epg location to HDD will that sort the problem? Will this guide work for the epg for both terrestrial and satellite?

Follow the directions in that video. Under SETTINGS it is no harm to set it to automatically save every 24 hours. You may find that the terrestrial (Saorview) only populates when a channel is first selected. However once it fills it's memory with 7 days for terrestrial it will save this along with your satellite EPG data. From then on, assuming you watch terrestrial at least once a week, you should be fine.
Be sure it IS saving to HDD not internal flash as it would soon eat up your memory space.

Edit: wrong menu location. The dangers of working from memory :)
