How much would plans and application fees for small extension cost?

    How much would plans and application fees for small extension cost?
    Also how much would it cost to price up the plans or would architects generally know themselves. Would I need to get a quantity surveyor to do this seperately.

    about 25m sq approx. small extension onto house.

    not surea about the budget . Just wanted to know what the plans would cost to draw up and application fees.

    Anywhere from €1500-€5000 depending on who you use.
    Are you rural or urban?

    Hi there - You don’t need to apply for planning permission for an extension under 40m2 to a domestic dwelling. It is exempt.

    With certain limitations and exclusions so the OP should check to see if their extension can avail of the exemptions.
