    Hi folks,

A question regarding witnessing a will, a relative recently had a will witnessed, two non beneficiaries witnessed at same time and thats all fine however when witnessed both witnesses dated the page underneath where they wrote their name, address and profession.

The question is does the witnesses dating underneath their details as I understand there was no requirement to do that cause an issue?

Relative I think is being over cautious but just thought i’d ask

    Thanks in advance

There is no such thing as over cautious with legal documents. People litigate over signatures. Witnessesing them is invaluable.
