Hi.So im at that stage where my outside oil boiler is in need of replacement.Im looking at a combi outside model the grant.Wondering what peoples opinions are with regards oil combis and the most reliable makes.A friend had a firebird installed 4 years ago and every year it needs something new, has been very troublesome. So would the grant oil combi be the best or is the likes of worchester better. Not sure how many manufacturers make outdoor oil combis.?

Grant all the way. Do you currently have a combi fitted?

No just an old standard open system.I know there will be a bit of plumping involved aswell to add a booster pump and make it a closed loop.Grant it is so,cheers.

Just make sure your system is suitable for a combi. Combis are designed for apartments ideally. If you have more than one bathroom I wouldn’t be fitting one
