    Thanks for that Mick. It's only lately i've discovered that less is more with these images.

    That is an absolutely stunning image Richard well done. Can I ask what software do you use for image processing? Is it difficult to get all the detail in the core area without it being washed out

    Thanks. For image acquisition i use Sequence generator pro. For stacking i use Deep Sky Stacker and for processing i use a combination of Pixinsight and Photoshop.

    For the core here i captured 20*20 second subs and blended it in using layers in photoshop.
