Counter top, oven and hob deals?

Hey folks,
Posting on behalf of a family member who's looking for any recommendations to get a counter top/work top, thinking maybe IKEA or the panelling centre or a builder providers might be good to check?

Also they are looking for a cooker and hob, but might be getting a freestanding cooker instead. Are the likes of Power City, DID and Harvey Normans all pretty much like for like in terms of what they have on offer and pricing or would there be any better quality/priced places to check, considering absolutely no research has been done into which brand to go for etc and just hoping whatever it will be will be decent quality at a decent price.

Any feedback would be great!

I wonder what IKEA's deals on ovens are like compared to DID, power city etc?

If you look again at the options you can pick a 246cm one too, that's what I got

Currys have an unrivalled selection of hobs, cookers etc.. And pretty good value.
Counter/work tops>>some builder providers do extremely good quality tops and great value, tho possibly the more common ones!? Check them out, and they usually are well oversized and cut to your spec..

Currys and DID have decent ranges, I'd opt for an induction hob. Well worth the small premium

Thanks a lot for the replies. They ended up going for a Belling oven for €249 and a Zanussi hob for €220 in Power City, the salesman gave €10 off too.

They got the counter top in IKEA. They needed a piece wider than 610 for one section and most places seemed only to do them in 600 width, but IKEA do them at 635.
