The Walking Dead (and now Fear the Walking Dead too) star Lennie James is once again collaborating with the makers of Line of Duty to write and star in the London-set thriller – and it looks like it's going to be every bit as intense as the hit BBC series.

The series follows Nelly Rowe (James), a charming chancer who is desperately searching for the missing daughter he barely knows and who's targeted as the chief suspect in his daughter's disappearance.

Soon, he's reunited with the girl's mother Claire (played by Doctor Foster star Suranne Jones) and sets out to prove his innocence and catch the real culprit.

    Expected to debut February 2018.

Halfway through it now. Excellent so far. The cast is very good.

Didnt know that Lennie James wrote it

Just finished it there. Excellent thriller overall. Lennie James was incredible as the lead.
Ending was a bit of a cop out though. Was hoping it would have wrapped things up

Jeez I dunno. It was edge of the seat stuff right till the end. I haven't felt as tense watching a TV show than I did during the "auction" scene. I think the ending tees it up nicely for a second season.

Brilliant drama though. And easy to binge on throughout this snow storm :D

    One observation though.
What is it with all the strange background "characters" in and around the area? You have the odd-ball howling at the moon, some lad doing tai-chi or one of them martial arts disciplines in the middle of a football pitch in the tower complex. You also had a couple ballroom dancing in the same spot, and a kid randomly in a inflatable raft too. Nelly also shared a lift with a dwarf that was surely done for comic effect, as was the sad looking clown having a pint near the end. There was two Indian fellas seemingly playing "rugby" with a bottle of coke too. It certainly portrayed the area and its general populace as a bit "eccentric".Haven't a clue behind it's reasoning though.

Jesus that last episode has traumatized me. Excellent show but way too dark in parts

    So so dark

Don’t know why this didn’t do much for me, no where near as good as line of duty.
I think a lot is to do with the fact I can’t stand his character in the walking dead!

I much prefer collateral at the moment

enjoyed it but a few things annoyed me or made it a bit silly
The odd background characters who were pointless and contributed nothing to the story
The fact there daughter is missing and there going around getting pissed, singing karaoke, riding all around them etc
Thought the scene in the last episode where there all listening to the auction in the bar was a bit stupid and corny
What happend to the irish husband off the mother ???

The trans character was a bit random but Jason Flemying is amazing in that sort of role

Been watching this show, starring Lennie James and Suranne Jones.

From the writer of Line of Duty, this is another quality show.
About a 13yr old girl going missing.

Lennie James excellent again, as he was in LoD.

Liked the show. But the opening theme bugged the hell outta me. Seemed more fitting for a sitcom or something.

Love Lennie James, loved this for the most part. The ending was a bit of a cop out but I get that they are probably leaving the door open for a second season.

Some parts where the tone was just off but overall an excellent little series.

I’m unsure if I’ll watch second series of save me. Found the first way too upsetting

Finished season 2, very good. He still has that annoying ringtone on this phone though, drove me mad.

Yes that ringtone is the absolute worst. And if the phrase ‘I beg’ was used again I was going to crack up.

Excellent show though. Was afraid I wouldn’t like it as I found parts of season 1 was too raw but it was excellent.

Great stuff. I reckon there will be a third and final season.

Really enjoyed the second season. Well it's really bleak so maybe just say I thought it was excellent. Lennie James is really good - very believable as someone who just charges in without thinking yet has good intentions.
