The Shooting sports have been dropped from the commonwealth games in Birmingham in 2022. Ironic as Birmingham was the centre of the gunmaking industry in the UK (and one of the world capitals of firearms production), taking up a quarter of the city.

Good grief. That's a hell of a slap in the face for British Shooting. They must be raging.

It seems a lot of Indian and Aussie shooters are raging as they are in training already, might put their funding at risk. But shooting is an optional sport, and not one of the ten core sports.
