As a New commer to crypto. I notice on some cryto Project websites they say to down load their wallet. Is that a good idea ? Would the wallet not be under their control then or be subsuptible to hacking

Well usually no but if you're getting phishing sites then you're gonna lose control of your coins pretty quick.

What other way would you have to get a wallet?
