Studying home ec

Finished my Christmas tests there a few weeks back & I was so stressed about home ec as there is just so much to study and to learn for it, especially for Social Studies which has just got so much information in it. I’m in 6th year so I’ve mocks just a few weeks after Christmas. I found studying for every subject fine even HL maths except for home economics which really stressed me out.
I find that mindmaps work really well for me for chemistry & biology as I can really condense the information, but I can’t find a way to study home ec that works for me. I find that mind maps don’t work for it as there’s so much to learn (as I said, especially with the social studies section)! Any tips would be really appreciated thanks!!

Hiya! For me I find doing past exam questions for home ec really good for me cause it shows me what's asked and in what way cause a lot of it is fluffed out in the book :) and for the things like the elemental structure of a protein I draw it out over and over until I know it off by heart! Oh and things like the fridges working principle and the processing of cheese or tvp try writing it out in short sentences so it's to the point then saying it out loud to yourself and explaining it to yourself to make sure u understand it and it goes in :) hope they help but probably not hahah

When I did the LC a few years ago, the exam was predictable enough that I could skip the whole social science section. It's only supposed to be 10% of the course anyway, so you shouldn't waste much time on it.
