I received allot of pyjamas, slippers and tops from pennys for Christmas that I wont wear, I don't have receipts but tags are still on them, also some of them may have been bought in the north. Can I exchange these items in a local pennys shop?

Legally, you have no right to and exchange or refund, unless the items are faulty, unfit for purpose, not as described, etc. However as a matter of goodwill Penney's may exchange them. The only way to find out is to ask Penney's.

If tags are still on them they will let you exchange but no refund

Always find Pennys customer care excellent, they will only exchange provided tags are still on and perhaps the item still in stock, be careful not to hold on to them for too long as if the item is further reduced they will only give you the item value on the day

Keep the tags on the items.

They won’t refund without a receipt, but they will exchange for a different size/items up to the value of the item you’re returning.

I had this before, they will only exchange it and only at it's current price. If the tag says 20 euro but it's currently priced at 10 euro, then you'll only get the cake it 10 euro towards another product.

Without a receipt you will only get an exchange to the current value of the items, if they have been reduced in the sale it may not be worth returning!

Yeah an exchange is all you'll get and in my local Penneys, if the item you want to return wasn't sold there at any point, they won't take it back.

Certainly that was their policy up until about a year ago, I don't know if its the same still.

Hope you got sorted OP. :)
