    Merry christmas all!

Closet clearing continues so I'm putting more bikes on sale.

Vitus Vee-29, size 19". 29" singlespeed MTB. Fun bike for offroading on parks and pathways or when fitted with slicker tires and it's a bombproof commuter/citybike to get around.

This bike has had fair share of use so expect the usual battle scars and scratches here and there. Mechanically it's solid and doesn't really require anything other than riding. Comes with Shimano M324 pedals, also available with regular flats or PD-M540 SPD's for few extra euros.

Asking price: €150 or reasonable offer

For extra 20€ I'll throw in Kryptonite Evo S2 lock and Kryptoflex cable.

    I think it's 39x18t.

    Hi!

Sorry, forgot to add location. Bike is in Dublin 9.

Thanks. You’re near me too but I just realised it’s bit the disk brake version. Which I’d prefer. Sorry

What height are you? Trying to figure out what size it would suit

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 25,531 Mod ✭✭✭✭CramCycle

Would it be suitable for someone who is 6'1?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I've been away for the last 4 days or so.

I'm about 5ft9 or so (177cm) and I'd imagine it would nicely fit someone taller than me. Bike was available in two sizes, this being the larger one. If you're in town drop by to test if in doubt.

Also interested, let me know how CramCycle gets on with it

I won't get to see it until the weekend so if you get in there before me (or make a better offer), so be it.

I am going to offer 130euro as is, 150euro if you throw in the lock and 160 if you include the lock and the M540 pedals on top.

I'd be unlikely to get there any sooner at all! I'll offer same (but no interest in the extras), and see how you get on.

I'll put this on hold for CramCycle for now. Ideally I'd like to get rid of the whole lot so €160 for everything sounds like a decent offer.

If I'm not breaking any rules I'll offer €150 for the bike only.

Well my offer has been accepted (but only the combination one), so if I don't take it, then the bike is yours as you have reached asking for the bike alone.

I think, will get one of the other mods to check as i am clearly biased.

Since CramCycle's offer has been accepted, it stands unless he pulls out of the sale for any reason.

I'll arrange viewing with CramCycle for the weekend, if he's not interested then TooObvious will be next in line.

Have to retract my offer - monies have been redirected!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,038 ✭✭✭✭Wishbone Ash

Next in line to offer asking price if it doesn't go to Cram.

Thanks for the bike, she handled well on the way home, like cycling a BMX for adults. Gent to deal with.
