Well, I'm looking to travel to Croatia. I'm on the verge of booking 7 nights in April/May. A few deals are coming up for Cavata and Mlini areas. Anyone have suggestions on these areas or some where else.

    Thanks

    Do you mean Cavtat ?
Cavtat is beautiful . Plenty of restaurants and a lovely walk around the headland . Very close to the airport and regular water taxi into Dubrovnik . Mlini is much smaller and very quiet . My choice would be Cavtat

Lovely area with clearest water. Not cheap but worth it

Some pics if the scenery look amazing, sea front mixed with pine trees in the back ground, alit different then typical canaries etc. In Cavtat, are all the beaches pebble??

Northern Croatia around Rovinj is fantastic and a fraction of the price of around Dubrovnik.

I'd second Proffesore's post. Northern Croatian coastline is beautiful and much cheaper than Dubrovnik/Cavtat. Don't let anyone put you off, Cavtat is beautiful and lots to see and do, but imo a few days in this area is plenty, if you have the time and hiring a car, explore as much of the country's coastline as possible and try get to the national parks, Pitivice NP is beautiful.

Croatia has very few sandy beaches .They have concrete projections into the sea over the rocks so you can get into the water from them .Or sit on them etc . In May the sea will not be that warm , its the Adriatic sea and not yet warmed up .

If you enjoy folklore and local dancing I recommend a trip to this
