Hey all x I recently got back my christmas exam results and I am really disappointed. I studied really hard but maybe not as hard as I should have. I have recently started attending maths grinds and they have improved my grades. :) I would really like to attend UCC next year but I need to get 450 points to do BIS. x I am currently doing 7 subjects which are as follows: OL maths, OL irish, OL physics, HL german, HL english, HL biology, and HL accounting.

My question is apart from doing grinds what else can I do to achieve higher grades??? I will be studying next week for the Pre-exams but I don't know what else I can do to get the points. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated, Thanks x

In my opinion you should try and do Higher level physics. Trust me, most question are repetitive, if you just do all the questions in past papers, learn the calculations, you will achieve a H2 if not a H1.

Look at your exams and see where you went wrong. Did you just not know the stuff? Did you know it but applied/wrote about it incorrectly? Did you leave out parts of questions?
Have a look at marking schemes and see what the examiner is looking for.

Try upping your physics or irish to higher level? Maths if you are able but im not sure as there are a few new topics to learn that are not on OL. Sadly OL students have a huge disadvantage with the points.
