    Howdy folks, I'm heading to Xi'an for a month and I need to start evaluating a decent setup for a hotel room regarding sound. I've purchased a vox amplug and i'll have my laptop so need to start thinking about an electric,
    Don't want to risk bringing over one of my own geetars as they were all quite expensisve.My question is..... should i buy a cheap geetar here or would i get more bang for the buck buying over there?

    I reckon buy over there - buy something cheap & cheerful there. No shortage of guitar choice id say! Plus no transport costs or worries

    Yes. Lack of delivery costs, plus lower level of salary.

    That's my intention :)
    Hopefully there's some guitar shops in Xi'an ....hard to find any info on the net
