    Hi Guys

I've ran into trouble using my tp link unmanaged 8 port switch, I need a managed one to allow multicasting so my Eir vision box will work,

Can anyone recommend a cheap and easy to use 8 port switch, I'm not that IT savy so it needs to be fairly user friendly,

    Thanks

Your switch shouldnt be dropping mcast frames, are you sure you've got the culprit?

Looks like it is, If I just join the two cables using a cheap joiner it works perfect, through the switch it stops, Looks like I need a switch that allows IGMP snooping what ever that is,

    Thanks
