    Hi
So as title says my firebird boiler is airlocked as we unknowingly ran out of oil. Had a small drum so put that in and tried bleeding it but no luck, normally only takes 4 or 5 goes and it's sorted but not this time. Am going to try to get oil delivered tomorrow as hopefully the extra pressure will help force the airlock out. Will also try and get a plumber but not too hopeful of being able to find one this close to Christmas.

I took off the fuel inflow pipe and there was no oil coming out at all. Is there any DIY way of sucking the oil through without physically sucking on a pipe filled with kerosene fumes 😨😨

you probably don't have enough oil in the tank if you ran out

wait until you get oil and then come back if still in trouble
