Nissan Leaf - in traffic.

    Have a question.

So let’s say you leave the house and the range on the leaf is 100 km.

You then sit in traffic for an hour and move only 5km. Will the range be 95 km at the end of the hour ?

Or will the range go down significantly due to stopping and starting in traffic etc

Kind of a silly one but just wondering.

Depends on what you've got running ie. heating, etc.

But sitting there with just the radio on or whatever shouldn't reduce range. It might even increase!

As above it depends. If it’s heavy traffic then you are not even touching the accelerator as you can coast along like any other automatic car.
