    Hi,

Hope someone can help ! We have two zone heating system (gas) with one controller at each floor. Both the level has a set temp of 18 degrees and when i turned on the boiler for heating the upstairs had a room temp at 17 and down stairs had room temp of 18 at that time. SO i think only upstairs radiators should turn on but all radiators were heating up after 5 minutes. Am i missing something or it is programmed to be controlled by only upstairs controller? its a new build and new controllers for us so dont know whether its working as it is supposed to or not.

Do you have separate motorised valves for upstairs and downstairs? In theory, each controller should only open it's own valve - you may need to check if one or both valves work when a controller comes on...

Thanks Dardania for your reply, how can i check this that both the valves are there and they are working as they should? Sorry if this sounds too dumb but i have no clue how/where to start from

    Hi OP here again,

i checked in the HP and there are two valves in there. I believe one is for upstairs and one for down stairs. one of them is on auto position and the other is on manual. do you think something is wrong here?
