Focus 06 Dash / Dash light?

    Hi,

Have a few issues with my 06 1.4l petrol Focus. 180000

I have done some research but I cant take it to a Ford dealer as they say they are booked out until Mid Jan.

Issue 1. My dash resets itself I get dashes in my odometer and the rev, speedo and temp needles don't work. But fuel does.

When that happens and comes back on, number 2 happens.

Issue 2. Red Cog with an Exclamation point. Looking through the forums it says it is a drivetrain error.

Issue 3. Yellow Engine Warning light

Issue 4. Just won't start sometimes. I leave it for like 30secs it will work again.

Issue 5Engine runs VERY sluggishly when this happens.

So Number 1 I read is a speed sensor and it needs replacing. 2 combined with 4 is a Coil Pack Issue and 5 is something to do with the Coil Pack. All together maybe a PCM?

I wanted to look these things up before asking but of course, I have no idea what I am talking about. So any help would be great as I have to drive the car to Navan from Dublin a few times and I'm not sure it will make it.

    Thanks and Merry Christmas,

Thanks for that, been driving today and both the lights didn't come on at all. Hope I can trust the fuel readout :D
