So if I am now on holidays until 3rd jan when is it that I should be paid for holiday pay from 28th onwards? I was told not until we come back on the next payroll day but I always thought it was once we took the holidays?

Sorry ... what is your question?

You are entitled to a minimum of twenty paid days of holidays each year (in addition to public holidays). As such, I don't see why taking paid holidays would have any bearing on the pay date.

You get paid for them whenever you normally get paid.
