Hi, I just got my bathroom done but after a day or so, I noticed stain on the floor tiles. The tiles are polished porcelain 45x45 Bolonia Crema Glazed Polcermic...made in Spain.. Has anyone had the same issue before and will it be down to the manufacturer?

glazed tiles are generally highly water resistant if not waterproof, as they are sealed. did the stains appear or were they there for the start?

The stain appeared afterwards. The next day after the tiles was put down.

Possibly the wrong adhesive was used, and the staining is coming from underneath.

I think the tiles are faulty because I put a spare one under the water and a few minutes later stain start appearing and the next day there was more stain

Were the tiles dry before laying them and was the floor dry enough before tiling aswell ?
I saw patchy looking tiles last week that were stored outside and a bit wet when putting them up . The tiler wanted to leave them ungrouted till after Christmas to dry out but the client said he wanted them grouted
Not sure what will happen now but there's a chance they will pop off where the water cant get out

The tiles were dry even the floor was dry. A first batch of tiles were put down, then we saw the stain so the tiler had to remove all the tiles and put a compound on the floor before putting new tiles again thinking that the compound might solve the problem but it was the same again.

are the stains only around the bottom of the towel rail?

Where did you buy the tiles from? I would send the photos to the retailer & explain what has happened. There must be a fault with the tiles.

Definitely there's a fault wiz the tiles as I took a spare 1 n put it under the tap and the stain start appearing almost immediately.
