    Hi folks.

Got my parents a WALKER WPS3918SM TV with receivers for free-sat and Saorview. They have sky tv in the living room and an rf link to the tv in kitchen meaning they can only watch the same channel at same time. If I put the new tv in the kitchen can I run it off the same LnB on the sky dish or will I need to mount another dish and lnb?

    Thanks for any help.

How many outputs are on the LNB? You can’t split the existing feed, you need to run a new one back to the dish.

its a quad LnB on it at the moment. I understand I have to run directly from the Lnb but can it feed the the sky box and freesat at the same time with interference on either device?

    Thanks

Yes it works just fine with its own feed. Each output on the LNB can be controlled independently.

That is great. Last question. Will the TV be able to pick up saorview and freesat thru the dish or will it need and ariel mounted for saorview?

You’ll need an aerial for Saorview. But you can also get a combiner/splitter pair so you can run the aerial signal down the same cabling if you don’t want to run more cables.

    Thanks. Much appreciated.

    Just to add ...

Combiner - http://www.freetv.ie/satellite/distribution/combiners/, for combining the 2 feeds and then splitting the 2 feeds in reverse
Splitter faceplate (if required) - http://vision-products.co.uk/v33-23plus-slim-n-fast-outlet-plate-sat-1-terr-sat-2/

See the video here, under the video guide tab - http://www.freetv.ie/tv-aerial-and-satellite-combiner/
