Is it the one that goes around the posts? Reggie promised me one for Christmas

Don't mean to second guess OP but would the stock not clean around posts?

Run a hedge cuter behind fence if heavy stuff

You are permitted to do weed control and a man on a quad with a selective will control things

unfortunitly they don't seem to be selling them here any more. mooreway stopped being the agent. I will have to email the manufacturer

my father had a few horses and takes a few small fields to make hay ,haylage or silage . only 10-15 bales.
horses are a nuisance for leaving bits here and there if they don't like it .
he usually has to strim these areas but its slow

he doesn't own the fields , only takes the grass in small fields behind houses. an acre here and there. he is retired so has the time to fool around like this

Done plenty of strimming under fence myself and know the pain! We've an offset topper which is occasionally used for this job. I'd still wonder would a hedge cutter be a better tool for the job. Pick up an older small unit off DD. A 3pt linkage bomford would be alright money

not a bad idea. I will look into it. it would do 2 different jobs .
probably looking at around 3-4 k for an old one , plus 1-2 k doing it up a bit.
6k is a bit much for what he wants.

Is it legal to use grazon 90 under and behind electric fence on bounds fence or on fence along hedgerow. If all weeds were killed cattle would generally tidy up the rest

Noxious weeds are required to be controlled

Spraying off a hedge/ditch with roundup is not permissible
