Anyone tried PDR themselves?

I'm thinking of buying a PDR kit and doing a few jobs on my own and families cars. I actually have an old non-runner car that I plan to practice on before touching anyone else's car. Anyone taken on the task themselves before? I have used Dentman a few times in the past and TBH he's absolutely excellent but I wouldn't mind being able to do it myself.

You can buy the full kit from Aliexpress for around €250 (and hope you don't get caught with customs tax) or buy the rods for doing parking dings for about €50-60 and then buy the pullers, hammer, nylon tools etc etc at a later stage.

There are countless videos on youtube with various tips and advice on how to approach just about any type or size of dent and they do make it look easy which I doubt would be the reality hence the reason I would practice on the old car before trying anything on anything else.

It's easy to get a fairly standard Dent to about 70% correction, it's incredibly hard to get better than that, there is many years of learning to be done

Yeah I figured it would take a lot of trial/error to get it right which is why I will only practice on the non runner until I get to an acceptable level first.
