Working class heroes

Hi there.
I'm in the market for a solid, well looked after beginner/starter bike.
I'm based in Wicklow and work in Dublin CC. If anyone has anything available now or in the new year give me a shout, thanks.

Hi Trekker.
Something on the large end of things. I'm 6ft so about the 22 inch mark. A road bike.
I'm new to all this so I hope that makes sense, thanks.

No bother. Plenty of good stuff out there 2nd hand at the moment. I'll post links if I see anything suitable

Good question. I was considering getting a bike on the btw scheme, however, it was suggested on another thread that I should go down the second hand route, for now.
Now I don't mind spending money on the right bike but if things work out I'll get a new one in about a year, so I have to bear that in mind. So I think I'll cap a second hand bike at around the €400.00 mark. Sorry for the long winded answer!

I'm in the process of selling a Felt Z85 on Adverts. I've accepted an offer and the guy has viewed it, but wants a few more days to think about it. I'd say it's 50:50 the sale happening. Its a size 56 so might be suitable. If you want to check it out and/or pm me in a few days feel free.

Apologies, it's actually a Felt Z75 not Z85. Slightly higher spec.

Sloping top tube with relaxed sportive geometry

It has never been ridden bar around my back yard to index the gears and tweak the brakes so is as new not a mark anywhere in it.

Not sure if you got sorted or not, but I might be selling one of my bikes. It's a Genesis Volare 853 with Shimano 105 10 speed.
