Trade up - Mazda 3 or..?

    Hey Guys,

I currently drive a 2016 Mazda 3 Executive SE 1.5D with 65000km, will be near 70000 by the time I am finished with it.
I got what I think is a decent offer to buy it back for €15250.00 and give it to my mother.

Wondering has anyone had much experience with Mazda's and breakdowns?
While the car has been brilliant so far, I am wondering what are they like when the 3 year warranty is finished?

Or is there anything better out there for similar money?

    Regards

The 1.5d is a bit of an unknown quantity because it's recent but I haven't heard of any engine innsues on them. Does your mothers driving suit a diesel?

It does, she mainly drives in town, but seeing as shes a rural dweller, anything outside of work is a lengthy drive.

I've heard the 2.2D engines were giving hassle on older Mazda 3/6, wasnt sure what the 1.5D would be like in the long term or has there been many issues with them yet.
