Solid fuel back boiler + no indirect heating cylinder

    The way I understand it the gravity-fed circuit up to a vented water cylinder is the only proper way of running rads off a back boiler stove.

    But what if you have no use for the hot water supply? Is there an alternative configuration possible?

    You could have a buffer tank that’s open vented and pump the rads from it
