Renault Scenic BCM problems.

    I'm having problems with a 2001 Renault Scenic which got water into the Body Control Module due to a sunroof leak.
    I have a BCM from another car but to get it to work I would need to change the ECU and a few other parts .
    It seems that the 'good' ECU can be 'virginised' and the have the info from the faulty one loaded onto it by some companies ( this would mean that the other parts don't have to be changed).
    I can't seem to find any such service in Ireland - would anyone on the forum know of one ?

    Ive used https://www.kcsystems.ie/ in Cork to do a few airbag resets and engine ECU cloning, they should be able to virginise or even clone the BCM for you.

    Would you be better off getting another Scenic for spares? That generation are scarce yet cheap, could be beneficial to have spare parts to keep your own one going if you plan to hold on for a few more years...

    I have emailed kcsystems to see if they can help.
    I have a 2002 Scenic for parts but it has been around for some time and the key and ECU have gone missing :mad:.
