Not connected since 30th November

    Hi,

We signed up for a new connection and paid in late November, and received our Work Number on the 30th November.

Since then we have not been connected. We received a phone call from the county council engineer who advised "that he could not guarantee" that we would be connected by Friday.

He also suggested connecting to our neighbour's supply in the meantime.

As you can imagine it will be a huge inconvenience to have no water supply over Christmas.

Is there any way to speed up this process? If not, can you advise as to the legality of connecting to our neighbour's supply and the process of finding their connection to connect to?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

    Shane
