Hi, my provisional licence is about to expire (08/1/2018) and I was wondering if I will lose my 12 EDT lessons which I've done during the summer.

    Thanks

Basically no, the lessons just kind of validate your learner permit. You don't have a fully valid learner permit until you complete the lessons. As long as you maintain your permits through renewing them, you'll never have to take EDT again.

The only way you'd have to redo EDT is if you let your learner permit expire for 5 years or more and you started over in the future. You'd basically be starting completely from scratch then, including retaking the theory test. That, or if you were prosecuted for a driving offence and the court instructed you retake EDT as part of your punishment.
