Washing machine is giving the above error just as cycke ends. I believe it's heater related. Feeling the water temp as it's draining from the waste pipe it's cold so water is not heating at any time during cycle. I've removed the element and soaked it in vinegar hoping that linescale might have been problem. Didn't fix the mater unfortunately. Time to order a new element or could something else be the issue?

So what did you do? Have the same problem now, wondering do they get fixed these days.

Apparently it is F08 — Heater fault, and indicates an open circuit. I could try taking machine apart but not sure how easy a fix would be.

What I did was bought a new machine :-D

Also bought a water softener to stop limescale messing up machines. Had gone through 3 washing machines in 6 years. Have current one over 5 years with zero issues
